In 8th year of being
JustaProgrammer, which is 8 more than I ever imagined after graduating with a BSEE. Still, I find it to be a surprisingly pleasant pursuit.
Currently developing software to help people hit bullets with bullets. I'm always looking for ways to get out from under seemingly GratuitousProcess
? (or GratuitousDocumentation
?) making every action also meet a process objective. I'm interested in applying the practices of
ExtremeProgramming to creating rapid iterations of constantly "certifiable" software.
Thoughts on WikiWikiWeb:
- I am pleased to find Wiki such a valuable resource, yet somewhat disturbed at my newfound addiction.
- I'm leaning towards NoNamesPlease as the most viable method for creating the PositiveDialogueCommunity Wiki espouses. Names seem to lead to a sense of ownership that invites AdHominem attacks.
- I'd prefer that Wiki stay OnTopic, even if I find the political conversations somewhat intriguing.
- There seems to be a curious trend towards new arrivals posting WalledGardens, perhaps in an attempt to feel like contributors.
