It has been usual for Springer-Verlag to publish a volume of LNCS known as the ECOOP Workshop Reader. This contains a report on each ECOOP workshop, and would be a good venue for an overview article describing the problem that the workshop seeks to address and the outcome of our deliberations. Arrangements for authoring such a article will be discussed at the Workshop.
We hope that small groups of participants will collaborate on developing their workshop submissions into formal publications after the workshop.
