Donald E. Knuth is professor of the Art of Computer Programming at Stanford University. He is the author of the
multi-volume work-in-progress "The Art of Computer Programming," five volumes of "Computers and Typesetting," and
"3:16 Bible Texts Illuminated." He is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the National Academy of
Sciences, and the National Academy of Engineering.
