I ran across Wiki by following a twisted path from the Linux World conference to blackdown.org to jos.org and thus to Wiki. I downloaded Wiki as a potential auto-FAQ system for my then-employer, Dataway.

I'm a regular attendee of the Silicon Valley Patterns Group and have been to a KentBeck workshop on ExtremeProgramming, despite not being familiar with the SmalltalkLanguage.

7-Nov-2000: The Extreme Programming team at my current company, Evant Solutions (http://www.evant.net), has inaugurated a "classic" Wiki as a developers' FAQ tool.

16-Apr-2001: Looking at Ward's Wiki and Wiki-over-CVS for programmers' collaborative notepads at Sendmail.

from 2-2002: using a slight hack on WardsWiki for my son's baby journal.
