Spelling Checker

 The spelling checker will indicate any spelling mistakes that exist in a page to which you are attempting to save changes. Use the back button on your browser to correct these errors or check the boxes so the errors do not appear again.

Does anybody have the original content of this page? I seem to remember there was a fair bit of discussion on it but it got vandalized along with its counterpart on wikiwiki... -- IainHanginLowe

If you save the page, you get a confirmation with the spelling errors found and checkboxes for all of them. What are these checkboxes for?

Apparently, it was once intended to allow new spellings at some stage. Due to problems with extending the dictionary, nothing happened.
