Stallmans Copyleft

RichardStallman and his FreeSoftwareFoundation[3] have produced several versions of a GeneralPublicLicence and ?LibraryGeneralPublicLicence which go under the moniker copyleft. Although carefully written, their legal foundation will remain unclear until tested in court [1].

I've had a little trouble tracking down a definitive source for the agreement. This may not be a problem since it seems to have been copied in tact just about everywhere. This version [2] comes from w3.org.

There is a definitive site[4] for copyleft. The GPL (?GeneralPublicLicense) can be gotten from http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/gpl.html. Related is the ?FreeDocumentationLicense at http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/fdl.html.
