John grew up in Hammond, Indiana near my hometown of Highland. I visited his house once around 1968 and saw his telephone pole tower, his solid state SBE rig, and the 160 gear he ran mobile (tx only, car radio would rx). It has been a while since I found this web site back in May of this year and I wanted to write and say hello. Claire and I have four children ages 22 down to 15. John P. is finishing nursing at UVM, Monique is a Jr at Merrimack college, Marie is a Sr in High school and Nicole is a Freshman. Thanks for your efforts to locate W9YB alumni. I noted VicOhm was last seen in Silicon Valley and I was out there last week for two days. I will try to look him up if I can find an address or phone. I am still at MIT Lincoln Lab. Talked to HowieHuntington k9UM former K9UKM also from YB when I was in Chicago last year. He works for Motorola. -- JohnSolman |
