Purdue established the tradition of going out for dinner on Sunday evenings by not serving food in the dorms. Yogi refined the tradition as follows...

  • Meet at the club on Sunday evenings.
  • Invite friends, even girlfriends.
  • Head for dinner at the PizzaKeg.
  • Finish the evening bowling in the ?StudentUnion.

Who were those diehard bowlers that came back week after week?

Mike used to be known for bowling with a 2-meter HT on his belt. His favorite gag when a non-ham type was watching was to release the ball and then grab for his HT and start hitting touch-tone buttons.

We referred to this bit as "the world's first RC Bowling Ball."
