On behalf of the City of Portland, I want to congratulate you on your innovative community bicycle program. This program has many benefits, such as promoting bicycling as a means of transportation, making good use of used bicycles, and introducing the concept of shared vehicles. I also appreciate your work with the Community Cycling Center, and its efforts to teach skills to urban youth and to promote cycling and cycle repair as a clean, healthy activity.
